Georgian Airways is looking for an experienced Airline Operations & DCS Specialist to support and coordinate operational processes related to DCS, Ground Handling, Weight & Balance, Load Control and Interline operations.
Key Responsibilities:
** Operate and support the DCS (Departure Control System) and ensure the accuracy of passenger and flight data;
** Prepare and verify operational data required for flight operations;
** Coordinate with Ground Handling providers and monitor compliance with operational procedures;
** Support Weight & Balance / Load Control processes and verify relevant loading documentation;
** Coordinate with airports, ground handling companies and other operational partners;
** Handle Interline processes and communicate with partner airlines;
** Monitor passenger, baggage, load and flight-related information;
** Identify and resolve operational issues promptly during flight preparation and operations;
** Coordinate with Flight Operations, Commercial, Airport Services and other airline departments;
** Prepare operational reports and maintain relevant documentation;
** Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable aviation standards.
Requirements:
** Previous experience in an airline, airport, ground handling company or aviation operations;
** Hands-on experience with a DCS;
** Knowledge of Weight & Balance / Load Control principles;
** Strong understanding of Ground Handling procedures;
** Understanding of Interline operations;
** English — Upper-Intermediate or higher;
** Strong computer and systems skills;
** High attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility;
** Ability to process large amounts of operational information accurately;
** Ability to work effectively under time pressure and within strict operational deadlines.
Would be an advantage:
** Experience with airline DCS systems;
** Experience in Load Control / Weight & Balance;
** Experience working with international airports and ground handling providers;
** Experience with Interline / Codeshare operations;
** Knowledge of IATA standards and aviation procedures;
** Previous experience in an international airline environment.
